After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife. Around midday, you will enjoy lunch at the base of the crater. Ngorongoro, one of the 8th Wonders of the World, serves as a critical sanctuary for diverse wildlife. You are likely to encounter large bull elephants and the endangered black rhinos. The crater also shelters large herds of wildebeest, zebras, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, hippos, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, as well as nearly 400 bird species.
